Internal Sales / Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will utilise your technical understanding to provide expert product advice, identify customer needs, and propose tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage technical expertise to understand and address customer requirements.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal sales teams, and agents.


• Accurately interpret customer needs and recommend suitable products from our range.


• Efficiently manage the order process from receipt to delivery.


• Develop and grow key customer accounts in collaboration with the sales team.


• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers.


• Contribute to sales forecasting and budgeting.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product advancements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong engineering background with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the engineering manufacturing sectors.
  
  


• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with customers.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally SAP.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in sales or a customer-facing role.


• In-depth knowledge of control and choke valves.


• Understanding of the Oil & Gas and Power & Industrial markets.
