Registered Nurse - Deputy Manager

A great opportunity has just opened up for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN Adult or RMN) to join a luxury care home in North London as their Deputy Manager.

Purpose-built in a quiet residential area (yet within easy reach of local amenities and transport links), this fully CQC-“Good” home is a warm, restful place where residents’ daily living and healthcare needs are fully accommodated and choice empowered – combining an excellent standard of care with an open and inviting atmosphere, premier-level hospitality at heart, and entertainment options for every taste in view of the London skyline.

The team provides high-quality nursing and respite care for residents whose health needs vary across a wide spectrum, which includes both older adults with age-associated conditions and younger adults who require support in managing physical/long-term disabilities.

As the Deputy Manager, you will be the home’s Clinical Lead, ensuring the delivery of optimal nursing care across the home and assisting the General Manager with the home’s operations.

You can expect to be monitoring compliance, assuring quality, and overseeing clinical practice and wellbeing so that each resident can get the very best care and quality of life possible.

This is a permanent, full-time Deputy Manager (Registered Nurse) position, working days only.

 

Person specification:


  • (Essential) Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult / RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN / RMHN).
  • (Essential) Experience caring for older adults with complex health needs.
  • (Essential) Clinical leadership experience – e.g.

    conducting risk assessments and investigations, managing a budget, and supporting the development of a clinical team.
