Job Title - Senior Repairs and Contracts Officer

Hours - 36

Role summary - Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Repairs and Contracts Officer to lead and manage a team responsible for the effective maintenance and refurbishment of non-residential properties, including garages.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in property management, contract supervision, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and influence a team of Repairs and Contracts Officers, ensuring the efficient management of rented garages and voids.


• Oversee day-to-day operations related to repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment of non-residential properties.


• Develop and implement robust procedures and processes to maximize income and enhance property conditions.


• Manage service and maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and organizational standards.


• Provide technical support for the management of non-residential properties, addressing fire safety and other regulatory requirements.


• Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure properties are fit for purpose and address any issues that may impact lettings.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in surveying or a similar field, or equivalent experience.


• Extensive knowledge of property management, including Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations.


• Proven experience in managing contracts, budgets, and financial controls.


• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a diverse team.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare complex reports.


• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, manage time well, and meet deadlines.
