Deputy Nursing Manager

Our client based close to Derby town centre are urgently looking for a Deputy Manager (RMN)

This GCQ good rated 59 bedded home, which has recently added a new unit (21 beds) offers respite, residential, nursing and specialist dementia care provision, tailored to individuals.

You will be supporting the Registered Manager with the overall management of the home, to ensure the highest quality of service is provided.

As a Deputy Manager of the Care Home you will need to ensure that all staff under your supervision have the right leadership, are organised and provided with the right support and training.

You will need to demonstrate that your staff follow the company values so they can make a positive difference to the lives of the Service Users

The role also involves planning and implementing and evaluating appropriate nursing interventions for Service Users as well providing ongoing monitoring of care and service provision.

The Deputy Care Manager will ensure a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatment, in accordance with the clinical
governance and clinical effectiveness.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a mental health environment and have knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to hospital care services and risk management and be qualified to QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent
