Healthcare Assistant - Agency

Our client is an established family run Care Home based in Dorchester and together we are urgently seeking Health Care Assistants to support their operation.

They provide personalised care tailored to the needs of their residents in a relaxed social setting, with daily activities, a choice of home cooked meals and refreshments throughout the day.

For residents and Health Care Assistants alike this is an excellent establishment to reside and work in.

Under the direction of the Staff Member in charge the Health Care Assistant will assist other staff with the provision of care and practice to meet the needs of residents ensuring that all policies and procedures in operation are implemented and that the highest standards are achieved and maintained.

Job Duties include Washing, Dressing, Shaving, Mouth care, Showering, Bathing, Hoisting, Repositioning, Feeding, Toileting, answering buzzers, documenting of all necessary practices and kitchen, domestic and laundry duties as required.

You must have a minimum 6 month experience of working as a Health Care Assistant in the UK.
