Supply Chain Administrator

Supply Chain Administrator - Poole - £13-15 per hour (DOE) - 6 month Contract (minimum)

Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Administrative Support.

This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient supply of goods in line with our business strategy and operational needs.

You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and maintaining accurate records.

We are seeking someone with excellent IT skills and the ability to learn and settle into the role quickly.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Order Management: Request order confirmations from suppliers, ensuring they meet our requirements and terms.

  • Delivery Tracking: Manage due and overdue purchase orders, maintaining delivery dates, and expediting when necessary.

  • Supplier Liaison: Address and resolve shortages with suppliers, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.

  • Purchasing Support: Assist with operational and project purchasing activities.

  • Data Management: Update and maintain accurate records in the SAP system.

  • Health & Safety: Promote and adhere to safe working practices in line with company policy.



Requirements:



  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes (SAP is advantageous)

  • Strong communication and customer relations skills

  • Cost-conscious with an emphasis on efficiency

  • Excellent teamwork and cooperative skills

  • Effective meeting facilitation and presentation abilities

  • Strong organisational and reporting skills
