Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Gibraltar | Competitive Salary Package | Office based

SRG are hiring.

Management Accountant required for a busy commercial company based in Gibraltar.

You will have strong month end accounts preparation skills, be a high-level user on Excel and have strong IT skills in general.

You will be involved in project accounting and calculating WIP analysis.

As the Management Accountant you will report directly to the Finance Director who is based on site.

Candidates who are bilingual English and Spanish are preferred.

• Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30hrs, Friday 08:00 - 15:30hrs.

What You Will Be Doing

• Monthly/Adhoc payment runs.


• Petty Cash/multiple Bank Account reconciliations.


• Project Costing duties relating to repairs/conversion projects.


• Project Cost Analysis and Work in Progress reporting.


• Formation of month-end and year-end management accounts for review by the Finance Director.


• Payable & Receivable Accounts management.


• Support the Finance Department's Accounts Assistant.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

• Qualified ACCA or ACA or CIMA

OR

• Hold a Degree in Accounting or Finance


• Excellent IT skills essential in most Microsoft systems, namely Office 365, Excel, AX Dynamics or Business Central.


• Auditing experience is welcomed but not essential.


• Responsible, reliable, dedicated and trustworthy individual.


• Good communication skills.


• Fluent in English and Spanish.


• Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
