Draughtsman

An architectural metalwork company based in South Yorkshire is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join their team.

Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP


• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Thursday), 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Friday)


• Salary: £35,000 per annum


• Location: Office-based

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings of handrails, balustrades, and staircases using Advanced Steel and AutoCAD.


• Manage the design process from start to finish, including client interaction and calculations.


• Conduct site surveys across the UK as required (pool van and fuel card available).


• Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications.


• Engage directly with clients to ensure their design needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the architectural metalwork industry.


• Proficiency in Advanced Steel and AutoCAD software.


• Strong ability to produce precise technical drawings and calculations.


• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and collaboration with internal teams.


• Flexibility to travel for site surveys as needed.
