Senior Social Worker

We are looking for Qualified Social Workers to join a Child Protection team in the Southwest.

About the role


This Assessment & Child Protection team implement the Family Safeguarding Model.

This team is a multi-disciplinary team, which includes social workers, practitioners, and adult specialist workers, working together on a strength-based approach.

The successful applicant will be part of the transformation of the council and contribute to improving the safeguarding of Children and Young People.



About the role


This role requires a Social Work degree (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and experience within Child Protection, Children in Need or Referral & Assessment.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to engage and motivate children, young people, and their families.

A driving license is not mandatory, but you will need to have access to travel around the council.
