We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join a local authority in South Wales.

About the team

The Intake & Assessment team is an exciting and fast-paced team where the social workers undertake well-being and S47 assessments, whilst providing short-term interventions to support families and increase safety within the home.

This local authority works under the Signs of Safety model, as a Social Worker, you may also be involved in care and private law proceedings.

About the role

This role requires a Social Work degree (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and the successful applicant with need previous experience of assessment, care planning, person centre planning and care management skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to engage and motivate children, young people, and their families.
