My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth.

They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Milling Programmer to join their team.

The Role: CNC Milling Programmer
- Set, operate and program CNC 3 and 5-axis Fanuc Milling Machines
- Online program editing and programming from scratch
- Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs
- Working on Fanuc-based controls 
- Working from drawings
- Quality control of components
- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
- Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Milling Programmer
- Experience of Setting, Operating and Programming CNC 3 or 5 axis Mills
- CNC Miller on Fanuc controls
- CNC Programming experience essential
- Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances
- Experience in the Defence industry is desirable
- Experience working from engineering drawings
- Able to quality check own parts
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
- Motivated and excellent team player

The Package: CNC Milling Programmer
- Starting rate up to £20 per hour dependent on experience
- Choice of Days or Late Shift
- Day shifts are Mon – Thurs, 07:30-16:00 Friday - 07:30-12:30
- Late Shifts are Mon – Thurs 12:15-22:00 (4 day week)
