Legal Cashier

A leading firm in the Birkenhead area are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their team.  With a modern approach, this firm are legal experts across the law areas they cover and pride themselves on providing an outstanding service to their clients.  You will join a vibrant firm and will be part of a busy accounts department and will report into the Accounts Manager, ensuring full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules and your main job role will be to undertake a diverse range of accounts duties including but not limited to the following:

- Daily bank reconciliations
- Preparing and authorising online electronic bank transfers - CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment
- Office disbursement & invoice payments
- Maintaining client ledgers
- Assisting with month end procedures
- Credit control duties
- Other ad-hoc accounts tasks as necessary

As the successful Legal Cashier you will ideally have at least 2 years experience in a Legal Cashier role alongside possessing strong numeracy skills & attention to detail.  You will have the ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues as well as external clients, providing an exceptional service.
