Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation in London for a Senior Finance Officer to join the team on a temporary basis.

The postholder will report to the Financial Accountant and will undertake a wide range of financial support tasks across the organisation's internal finance function.

Main Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the financial accountant to ensure a strong financial control environment is in place, including payment processes, grant processing, cash management, balance sheet reconciliation and corporate reporting.


• Maintain SAP financial processes and structures to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting is available to support the finance business partners and business area.


• Support planning cycles by maintaining and tracking progress to timetables, including budgets and quarterly forecasts.

Candidate Criteria

• Part-Qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant or Equivalent


• Experience of providing financial support within a large public sector organisation


• Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage


• Experience of working with financial systems with high competency of standard office software applications


• Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
