Night Care Manager

We are currently looking for a Night Care Manager to join our dedicated team within a beautiful Care Home in Lancaster.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity working 8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota.

We are looking for a Night Care Manager who can manage the service throughout the night in the absence of the home manager.

You will be the first point of contact for the senior carers and care assistants monitoring and observing the care being provided, giving additional support, training and supervision when required.

You will ensure the that detailed and effective handovers are completed and evidenced, including the handover of company property and medications.

We are looking for a role model, who can build exceptional rapport with residents and their families.

Experience

• Extensive knowledge in dementia and elderly care, holding NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.


• Proven experience in team management, including supervisions and appraisals.


• Strong understanding of medication management within care settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the night team, facilitating nightly meetings and providing staff feedback.


• Oversee night rotas to ensure adequate staffing and skill mix.


• Communicate effectively with management to address concerns promptly.
