Director of Sales

The tasks you are responsible for:


  • You are responsible for strategic positioning and sales orientation
  • You recognize potential contacts, customers, markets and their development at an early stage
  • You are responsible for implementing the sales strategies in line with the budget targets, with a focus on maximizing hotel sales in the assigned markets or market segments
  • You conduct contract negotiations
  • You present the hotel at trade fairs, networking events and sales trips
  • You are responsible for the organization and implementation of house tours, telemarketing activities, customer events and fam trips
  • The position is characterized by intensive cooperation with the national and international sales offices
  • You are responsible for managing a small sales team (1 direct report)
  • You are responsible for market observation and analysis

Who are we looking for?


  • Several years of practical, professional sales experience in a similar position, preferably in the hotel industry
  • It is desirable if you already have previous experience or a customer network in the MICE-segment
  • You are able to recognize and set priorities correctly, as well as being structured and goal-oriented in your way of working
  • You have strong communication skills, a confident manner and negotiating skills in German and English as well as a sales and revenue-oriented mindset
  • You enjoy dealing with customers, guests and our international circle of colleagues
  • You are flexible, furthermore the position requires up to 20% willingness to travel (car driver's license an advantage)
