A prestigious luxury resort is seeking a Banquet Sous Chef to join its culinary team, focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests.

This role involves assisting in the preparation and execution of large-scale banquet events, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menu offerings while overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a professional kitchen, showcasing strong culinary techniques and practices
• Proven ability to expertly prepare a variety of grilled items to high culinary standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaboration, along with familiarity with kitchen management software
• Valid Food Safe Certification is essential, and knowledge of the Birch Street purchasing system is advantageous for inventory management
• While experience in hotel banquet operations is desirable, strong culinary skills and a willingness to learn are also valued
