Health & Safety Advisor - South & East Region


Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for Health & Safety? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Advisor to join an organisation committed to making a real impact in the housing sector.


This role is based in Peterborough, with regular travel across the South & East region.

It offers the chance to work in a dynamic and evolving environment where safety and compliance are top priorities.


The Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will:



  • Support and enhance colleague safety, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

  • Deliver tailored safety training programmes to empower and educate colleagues.

  • Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of the health and safety management system.

  • Investigate incidents and provide expert advice on Health & Safety matters.

  • Play a key role in adapting policies and procedures to meet changing regulatory requirements.


This is a pivotal role where your expertise will help drive positive change, ensuring a safer environment for both colleagues and customers.


The Ideal Candidate

You will bring:



  • A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and proven experience in its practical application.

  • Internal auditing experience across various Health & Safety disciplines.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a critical and analytical mindset.

  • A collaborative and positive team player ethos with a commitment to delivering excellence.

  • Excellent relationship-building abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.


What's On Offer

  • Salary: £37,184 per annum (depending on experience) with an essential car user allowance of £1,250 per annum.

  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week, permanent.
