About the Mental Health Service
This mental health service is one of the most recognized and well-regarded in the region, offering dynamic programs like Enhanced GP Liaison, Hospital in the Home, and intensive community treatment.
The service is undergoing significant expansion, with plans to introduce 40 new beds by mid-2025, including units for dementia, neurostimulation, and long-term rehabilitation.

Position Details
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a recovery-focused framework.
- Participate in peer reviews, training workshops, and registrar teaching.
- Engage in research projects and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and support junior staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide critical incident reviews and trauma-informed care for patients.
Job Details
- Work Type: Fixed Term (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Sessional)
- Salary: AUD $336,466-$427,886 p.a.
pro rata or $644.98-$820.23 per session (inclusive of base salary and applicable allowances). - Additional Benefits: Generous leave entitlements, salary packaging options, relocation support, and visa sponsorship opportunities.

Requirements
- Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent, with eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
