The Rural & Remote Mental Health Service offers a holistic, patient-centered approach with a focus on recovery and integrated care.

Position Details
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatments for mental health consumers in rural and remote areas.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consumers, carers, family, and external service providers to deliver holistic care.


• Participate in professional development and contribute to research projects.


• Shape the future of mental health services in Country SA.

Job Details

• Permanent Part-time position (30 hours per week).


• Salary: AUD $501,044 - $652,823 per annum (pro-rata), including allowances and professional development benefits.


• Total Indicative Remuneration Package (TIRP) includes award salary, managerial allowance, remote call allowance, superannuation, and more.

Requirements
Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.


• Registration as a Consultant Psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).


• Participation in continuing medical education.
