We are looking for a skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our headquarters in Ringwood, Hampshire.

You will be responsible for refining our current product range and developing new and innovative solutions for our customers.

As a key member of our design team, you'll work closely with mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software engineers, collaborating across departments to bring our products from concept to completion.

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Designing mechanical components - from small fittings to complete products.

✔ Developing electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems - integrating pumps, valves, motors, sensors, heaters, and more.

✔ Performing engineering calculations - including fluid flow and heat transfer analysis, supported by FEA tools.

✔ Managing the full product lifecycle - from concept design and manufacturing through to customer support.

✔ Leading technical projects - supporting other engineers, conducting design reviews, and improving processes.

✔ Ensuring product compliance - understanding safety directives such as Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directives.

✔ Producing technical documentation - including manuals, test procedures, and assembly instructions.

What You'll Need to Succeed

✅ Strong SolidWorks skills and experience managing designs through a PDM system.

✅ A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and designing for small-scale production.

✅ Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and organisational ability.

✅ A proactive and inquisitive mindset - always looking for ways to improve products and processes.
