Data Platform Engineer (m/f/x)

About the Role

A leading company in the sporting industry is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to enhance its data infrastructure and ensure scalable, high-performance systems.

This role involves working in a collaborative environment, developing robust data solutions, and optimizing cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data infrastructure.


• Manage, scale, and optimize AWS services for performance and cost-efficiency.


• Build solutions using Python, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.


• Work with data warehousing, APIs, and automation to improve workflows.


• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues proactively.


• Collaborate with security and DevOps teams on company-wide initiatives.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.


• Strong skills in Python, Linux, GIT, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).


• Experience with data warehousing, operational data stores, and integration projects.


• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and mentor junior team members.


• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
