Snr Project Manager

We are actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team.

In this role, you will be dedicated to delivering custom development services to our valued customers.

The team's primary focus lies in developing software applications for the financial and industry sectors.

These applications empower both internal and external clients by automating their processes.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Program Governance & Coordination: Manage the program governance process and coordinate the efforts of the program management team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regional needs.

  • Project Planning & Integration: Collaboratively develop region-specific and integrated project plans, including identifying risks and resource needs for migration projects.

  • Tools & Templates Setup: Assist in setting up tools and templates for workstreams, ensuring consistent reporting standards and enabling efficient execution of tasks.

  • Meeting Facilitation: Set cadence and agendas for workstream meetings, facilitate SteerCo meetings, and manage recurring status meetings to gather updates from various project workstreams.

  • Risk Management: Identify program and project risks, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

  • Schedule & Budget Maintenance: Maintain and update region-specific schedules, risks, and budgets, ensuring alignment with the overall program.

  • Executive Reporting: Prepare program-level updates for Executive Leadership, workstream leads, and SteerCo, highlighting key metrics, risks, and progress.

  • Scope & Timeline Management: Monitor scope and timeline variances, assessing their potential impact on value realization, and work with stakeholders to address implications.

  • KPI & Benefit Tracking: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are identified and to measure program benefits and associated KPIs.


Requirements / Must Haves:



  • Over 5 years of experience in software development

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex programs involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

  • Understanding of Cloud transformation/Cloud migration projects, Experience with cloud technologies


Technical Skills:



  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, G Suite and MS Project tools.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Consultant Mindset: Skilled in proposing innovations, explaining reasons for change, and guiding non-technical stakeholders through complex decisions.

  • Ability to work effectively with teams in the US time zone (standard work hours by 6 pm CET, with a preference for longer overlap with US time).


Other Skills / Abilities (Would Be Nice):



  • Experience with Migration Projects: Prior experience managing migration projects, particularly in a global or multi-regional context.

  • Certifications: CSM, CSPO, PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certifications.

  • Industry Experience: Experience working within the technology or software development industry, particularly in a consulting capacity.

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Ability to analyze complex data sets and use insights to drive decision-making and program adjustments.
