We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children in Need Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

This team works with children and families who are facing significant challenges, supporting them to ensure their safety and well-being.

This includes conducting comprehensive assessments of children to identify the needs of the family and the risks that may be in place.

They provide direct intervention taking the necessary actions to safeguard them.

When required they will prepare reports and attend court hearings to present evidence in support of children's welfare.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role.

Experience working with children, their families and court work will aid in the effectiveness of the role.

A valid UK driving license and vehicle is essential to the success of this role.
