Project Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an engineering environment, with the ability to work internationally to complete supplier inspections and audits and carry out equipment acceptance inspections.

In this role, you build crucial relationships and liaise with suppliers, and ideally have a strong knowledge of defense or related industries.

The Project Engineer will provide technical expertise, ensure project compliance, and assist with scheduling, planning, forecasting, and managing technical activities. 

Responsibilities as Project Engineer

- Liaise and meet with suppliers, and build and maintain relationships
- Provide interface between project and engineering disciplines, and suppliers on technical issues and non-conformances
- Ensure compliance with project-specific quality requirements
- Collaborate with senior engineers to create efficient project methods
- Review engineering tasks and provide detailed reporting
- Assist with scheduling, planning, forecasting, and managing technical activities
- Provide engineering expertise to the project team
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members
- Produce technical and non-technical reports and give presentations

Qualifications as Project Engineer

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline
- Ability to gain SC clearance
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering
- Experience in a project engineering position
- CAD
