Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Director – National – Up to £95k + package

We are on the hunt for a highly experienced and strategic QHSE Director to lead and enhance Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental performance across the UK and Ireland operations for an industry leading client.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for setting and executing the QHSE strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain an integrated QHSE management system.
• Lead a high-performing QHSE team and provide coaching, direction, and support across the UK & Ire.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Drive a proactive safety culture and behavioural change through engagement, training, and leadership.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, engineering, and commercial teams to embed QHSE best practices.
• Engage with external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies.

Ideal QHSE Director

• Proven experience in a senior QHSE leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of UK & Irish HSE legislation and industry standards.
• Demonstrated success in leading cultural transformation and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing large teams and multi-site operations.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Flexible to travel across sites in the UK and Ireland.
