Location: Yate, Bristol (BS37 5NH)
Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour
Overtime: £34.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 AM
Hours: 07:00 - 15:30
Contract Type: Ongoing - Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy and well-organised site based in Yate, Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent weekday work with competitive pay and a clear route to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Class 2 (Category C) vehicles on local and regional routes


• Perform scheduled collections and deliveries


• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate driving logs


• Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently


• Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence


• CPC qualification and digital tachograph card


• A minimum of 6 month's recent Class 2 driving experience


• Solid understanding of driver compliance and road safety


• Reliable, professional, and punctual

What's on Offer:

• £22.00 per hour basic pay


• Overtime paid at £34.00 per hour


• Monday to Friday only - no weekend work


• Day shifts from 07:00 AM to 15:30 PM


• Ongoing role with the potential to become permanent
