As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.


Job Responsibilities




  • Work alongside class teachers to provide tailored support as an SEN Teaching Assistant.




  • Assist pupils with special educational needs, both in class and in small groups.




  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.




  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.




  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals in your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant.




Qualifications/Experience




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.




  • Right to work in the UK.




  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.




  • Strong communication, patience, and empathy are essential qualities for an SEN Teaching Assistant.




  • Commitment to supporting the ethos and values of the school.
