Job Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:




  • Support pupils with SEND both in the classroom and during outdoor activities.




  • Work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored learning plans.




  • Assist in preparing learning resources and classroom materials.




  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.




  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.




  • Support the development of pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural skills.





Qualifications/Experience

To be successful as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.




  • Right to work in the UK.




  • A passion for supporting children with additional needs.




  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.




  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable but not essential.
