Job Responsibilities

As a Year 1 Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:




  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons for Year 1 students.




  • Assessing and monitoring student progress to ensure every child achieves their potential.




  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.




  • Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils.




  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.




  • Engaging with parents and carers to foster strong home-school relationships.





Qualifications/Experience

To succeed as a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will need:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




  • Strong classroom management and communication skills




  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering student growth
