Teach Plus are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Hackney.

This Ofsted-rated ‘Good' mainstream school is well-established within the community and committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.

The school promotes creativity, collaboration, and high standards of teaching and learning, making it an ideal setting for an experienced KS1 Teacher looking to make a real difference.

The successful KS1 Teacher will join a supportive team of staff who share a strong ethos of developing children both academically and personally.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.


• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL.


• Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.


• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and progress across the class.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support pupil development.


• Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and whole-school initiatives.

To be successful in this KS1 Teacher role, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching within Key Stage 1


• A strong understanding of the KS1 national curriculum


• Excellent classroom management and communication skills


• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners


• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service


• Right to work in the UK
