Bookkeeping and Logistics Coordinator $75,000- $80,000
I’m working with a FoodTech company dedicated to enhancing the quality of food, and they’re seeking a Bookkeeping and Logistics Coordinator to join their team remotely in the US.
In this role, the Bookkeeping and Logistics Coordinator will oversee the logistics related to shipping and inventory, contract management, and strategic planning to support business growth, collaborating closely with distributors, sales teams, and leadership.
This position blends financial management with light project management—ensuring accuracy in invoicing, expense tracking, benefits administration, expenses and inventory oversight—while also contributing strategic insights that go beyond traditional bookkeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating and implementing procedures for the company related to finance and operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and daily transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with payroll, expense reports, and basic financial reporting.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, expense tracking, payroll, and benefits administration
- Support sales and distributor teams with accurate financial reporting and insights
- Handle administrative duties as needed, such as booking travel or team logistics
- Oversee contract review and management for distributors, customers, and employee-related matters
- Lead projects as they come up from time to time
- Reporting to the parent company on a daily basis (based in Israel).
Qualifications:
- Strong background in invoicing, expense tracking, benefits administration, and contract management
- Experience working with distributors, sales teams, and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting/finance systems
- Strong contract review skills, with ability to identify risks and key terms
- Experience in inventory, storages, billing, collections.
- Experience in food, retail, or hospitality sectors preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Self-starter, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities independently in a remote environment
- ERP experience is a plus, but not required
