Business Development Manager

My client a national innovator in sustainable waste and resource management, are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager, to play pivotal role in driving growth within their Industrial & Commercial division.

What we’re looking for:


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in field-based business development, ideally with high-value contracts (£1m+ per annum)
  • Proven success in managing and winning tenders or large-scale service contracts within FM
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of tendering processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  •  

Key responsibilities:


  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to support sustainable growth
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and presentations to negotiation and contract close
  • Respond to tenders, RFIs, and RFPs, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline, with individual contracts averaging around £1.5m
