We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join a well-established engineering manufacturer on a temporary basis during their busy period, with the possibility of permanent employment.

Offering up to £35k per year plus generous overtime, this is a great opportunity for a fabricator experienced in both MIG and TIG welding.

What's on offer to the welder fabricator:

• Pay: £15-£17 per hour, depending on experience


• 33 days annual leave


• Generous Overtime: paid at time and a half


• Hours: core hours 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, but currently contacted to work 7:00 am - 4:00 pm


• Potential for permanent employment

Key responsibilities for the welder fabricator:

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding safely and efficiently


• Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium


• Read and interpret engineering drawings


• Ensure high-quality standards are met on all work


• Use hand tools and plant equipment as needed

Skills and experience required:

• Experienced in all aspects of fabrication and sheet metal work


• Confident MIG and TIG welder capable of working to tight tolerances


• Comfortable using hand tools, guillotines, rollers, and grinders


• Able to finish and dress surfaces to a high standard
