Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) – Permanent Role - Derby

 

We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join a well-established Accident Repair Centre in the Derby area.

The role – Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator

You will:

- Inspect accident-damaged vehicles and assess full repair costs and timescales
- Ensure correct repair methods and pricing structures are followed
- Manage workflow in line with company and customer targets
- Use computerised estimating systems
- Liaise with insurers, accident management companies, and customers
- Provide updates and ensure excellent customer service throughout

 

What we’re looking for

- Experience using estimating software (ideally Audatex)
- ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and as part of a team
