Salary: £190 - £230 per day (depending on experience)
About the role/school

This welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their specialist provision from January 2026 .

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, moderate learning needs and SEMH.


The successful SEN Teacher will work within a well-structured primary SEND setting that benefits from strong leadership, excellent support staff and a clear focus on personalised learning.

This SEN Teacher role would suit someone passionate about inclusive education and making a real impact on pupils' academic and emotional development.


The school offers a supportive environment where a SEN Teacher can thrive, with access to ongoing CPD and close collaboration with the SENCo and wider inclusion team.


Job Responsibilities


  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons as a SEN Teacher to meet a range of complex needs




  • Teach small groups and whole classes within the SEND provision




  • Adapt learning using visual supports, routines and multi-sensory strategies




  • Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development




  • Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCo and external professionals




  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets as a SEN Teacher




Qualifications/Experience


  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)




  • Experience working as a SEN Teacher or supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting




  • Strong behaviour management and inclusive classroom practice




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
