Job Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:




  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs across the school




  • Assisting the class teacher with creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment




  • Delivering targeted interventions to help pupils progress




  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required




  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being




  • Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the wider school team




This role is ideal for a caring, proactive SEN Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.



Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you must have:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable.
