General Manager | Luxury Family Resort | €5,000–€5,800 Net | Croatia

I am searching for an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a five-star luxury family resort in Croatia.

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for hotel performance, guest experience, and team leadership within a high-profile resort environment.

The role requires a hands-on, people-focused hospitality leader with strong commercial acumen and a proven background in luxury or luxury lifestyle resorts, ideally with family-oriented concepts.

Your Experience

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operational leader in a luxury hotel or resort
• Strong background in international hotel brands
• Experience managing large, multi-department teams in a resort environment
• Full P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Strong guest-focused mindset with a passion for family hospitality
• Fluent English essential
• Croatian preferred (German or other European languages an advantage)

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily hotel operations across Rooms, F&B, Guest Services, Kids & Family Concepts, Wellness, and Activities
• Lead, motivate, and develop department heads and operational teams
• Drive guest satisfaction and deliver exceptional family-focused experiences
• Manage financial performance, budgets, and reporting
• Maintain brand standards, compliance, and operational excellence
• Act as the senior point of contact for owners, investors, and key stakeholders
