Catering Assistant - Tralee

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting Agency Catering Assistants to support our HSE client in Tralee.

This flexible agency role involves assisting with food preparation, service, and maintaining hygiene standards within a healthcare setting, in line with HACCP and HSE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals
• Ensure food is handled and stored in line with HACCP standards
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and service areas
• Support cleaning duties, including equipment and work surfaces
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures
• Work effectively as part of the catering team

Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Eligible to work in Ireland
