Data Engineer

Location: West Midlands 

£40,000-£50,000 + Benefits

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing Data and Insights team in a business that blends scale with a startup mindset.

If you enjoy building robust data solutions while shaping how a company uses data day to day, this is a great opportunity to make real impact.

You will design, build and support the data systems that power reporting, analytics and decision making across the business.

From data pipelines to dashboards, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable and high quality data solutions.

The role:

• Build and maintain data warehouses, models and pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models and reporting solutions
• Act as the go to for data, reporting and analytics requests
• Collaborate with teams to turn business needs into data solutions
• Troubleshoot issues and drive long-term improvements
• Ensure best practice across data governance, security and performance

Experience:

• Strong SQL Server skills (querying and optimisation)
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric & Power BI
• Solid understanding of data architecture and data flows
• Excellent problem solving and stakeholder communication skills
