An exciting opportunity has come up for a talented chef ready to take the next step into their first Head Chef role.

This position would suit a strong Sous Chef from a Michelin-starred kitchen, or a Junior Sous Chef from a 2-star background, who is looking for the right platform to step up and grow.

You will be joining a serious food-led restaurant in Ireland, serving a tasting menu only in a 60 to 70 cover setting.

The food style is modern British and Irish, with a strong focus on quality ingredients, creativity, and high standards.

Working closely with the Chef Director on a daily basis, this is a brilliant opening for someone who wants to keep learning while taking on more responsibility and building their own reputation.

What you will be doing

• Leading the kitchen team in the day-to-day running of service
• Delivering a high-level tasting menu experience
• Working closely with the Chef Director on menu development and standards
• Training, supporting, and motivating the team
• Maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail at every stage
• Helping drive the kitchen forward with creativity and ambition

What we are looking for

• Experience as a Sous Chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant, or Junior Sous Chef in a 2-star environment
• A real passion for food, ingredients, and hospitality
• Strong standards, attention to detail, and a calm approach in service
• Someone ambitious who is ready for their first Head Chef role
• A chef who wants to learn, grow, and make their mark

• €50,000 salary
• Staff accommodation provided
