We are seeking a passionate and creative Nursery Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities - Nursery Teacher


As a Nursery Teacher, you will:



  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

  • Support children's early communication, language, and social development

  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and carers

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and EYFS department

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing


Requirements - What We Are Looking For


Essential Criteria



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience working as a Nursery Teacher, EYFS Teacher, or Early Years Teacher

  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Passion for early childhood development and education

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Right to work in the UK
