Lead Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP
A leading, well-established hospital is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP to join its theatre team, supporting the delivery of high-quality elective surgical care.
As the Lead Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP you will be part of a skilled and supportive team delivering high-quality care across a broad range of surgical procedures.

In this role, you will take a lead position within the anaesthetic team, providing expert clinical support across all stages of the perioperative pathway.
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety, while acting as a role model and mentor to junior staff.
This is a permanent position.
Because the role involves dual-site working, you’ll need to be able to travel between locations, so having a driving licence and access to a car is important.
Person specification:
- NMC registered RN Adult or HCPC registered ODP
- Significant experience in anaesthetics within a perioperative setting
- Strong clinical knowledge across a range of specialities
- Excellent leadership & team management skills
- Confidence in supporting complex cases and managing emergencies
- Ability to travel independently to site, with access to a car required due to limited public transport options.
