About the role and school


We are seeking an experienced SENDCo to join a diverse and inclusive primary school in Newham from September.

This SENDCo role offers the opportunity to lead and develop SEND provision across the school.

The SENDCo will play a key role in ensuring all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.


This SENDCo position is within a well-established primary school serving a richly diverse community.

The school has a strong commitment to inclusion, with a dedicated focus on supporting pupils with additional needs.

Leadership is supportive and committed to developing high-quality SEND provision across the school.

The SENDCo will be joining a collaborative and child-focused environment.


Job Responsibilities


As a SENDCo, you will lead on SEND strategy and provision across the school.

The SENDCo will coordinate EHCPs, liaise with external agencies, support staff with differentiation strategies, and monitor pupil progress.

The SENDCo will ensure inclusive practice is embedded across all year groups.


Qualifications and Experience



  • NASENCo qualification (or working towards)

  • Experience as a SENDCo or SEN leadership role

  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

  • Right to work in the UK
