Finance Director

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: €100,000 – €120,000 + bonus
Languages: Fluent English required, Dutch preferred

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing European hospitality in a broad senior finance role with strong exposure to operations, investment, and strategic growth.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong hospitality finance expertise with a commercial and analytical mindset, and who enjoys working in a scaling, entrepreneurial environment.

As Finance Director, you will act as the most senior finance professional within the business, partnering closely with the CEO, leadership team, and external investment stakeholders.

You will oversee the finance function across both the management company and hotel portfolio, providing strategic financial insight while remaining hands-on in execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across the corporate business and hotel portfolio
• Deliver financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance analysis
• Act as a strategic finance partner to leadership and investors
• Oversee outsourced accounting, compliance, and technical finance functions
• Manage stakeholder relationships across operations, development, and investment partners
• Support hotel openings, refurbishments, acquisitions, and growth projects
• Drive process improvements, financial governance, and operational efficiencies
• Lead and mentor a small finance team

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience within finance and accounting with some years in hospitality
• Strong understanding of hotel operations combined with strategic and investment-focused finance exposure
• Experience working across multiple European markets is essential
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a growing business
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage both people and external partners
• Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus
