Speech & Language Therapist

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist based in North Wicklow.

About the Role

As a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred assessment and intervention services.

You will support individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families to develop communication skills, increase participation, and improve overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete communication and swallowing assessments where required
• Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes
• Support service users to achieve communication and participation goals
• Provide guidance, training, and support to families and staff teams
• Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Promote evidence-based practice and person-centred supports

Requirements

• Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
• CORU registration, or eligibility for registration with CORU
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to person-centred and evidence-based practice
• Dysphagia qualification may be required for some posts
