What the job actually involves

You'd be:



  • Driving a 7.5-tonne lorry (not a standard van)

  • Working in a 2-person team (so you'll have a helper with you)

  • Delivering heavy furniture, appliances, and electrical goods into homes

  • Doing multiple stops per day (multi-drop)

  • Physically lifting and carrying bulky items into customer properties

  • Doing vehicle checks, paperwork, and tachograph compliance


What you need

  • UK C1 licence (allows 7.5t vehicles)

  • Driver CPC (mandatory for professional driving)

  • Digital tachograph card

  • Good fitness (this is physically demanding work)

  • Customer service mindset


Hours & pay structure

  • 48 hours per week

  • Likely early starts

  • Weekly bonus + overtime
