HR Manager – Up to £60,000 – Hospitality Business

We're working with an exciting new hospitality opening in London that is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the business.

This is a standalone role with the opportunity to build and shape the people function from day one, working closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The Role:

•  Standalone HR Manager responsible for the full employee lifecycle
•  Lead all recruitment and onboarding across the business, including pre-opening hiring
•  Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees
•  Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence management and performance issues
•  Support TUPE processes where required
•  Advise on UK employment law and ensure the business remains compliant with current and upcoming legislation
•  Manage and advise on Tronc schemes, service charge distribution and bonus structures
•  Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
•  Support learning and development, employee engagement and retention initiatives
•  Build strong relationships across all levels of the business and be a visible presence within the operation
•  Produce HR reports and support workforce planning
•  Partner with senior leadership to help build a positive, people-focused culture

About You:

•  Significant HR experience within hospitality
•  Strong knowledge of UK employment law, including the Employment Rights Bill reforms, the Tipping Act and upcoming legislative changes
•  Proven experience independently managing complex employee relations cases, including discrimination, redundancy, TUPE and grievances
•  Good understanding of Tronc schemes, service charge distribution
•  A genuine passion for people with the ability to build trust across all levels of the business
•  Calm, organised and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving pre-opening environment
•  CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
•  Previous hospitality pre-opening experience is highly desirable
