We're partnered with a highly elevated, high-end restaurant in Washington, DC looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join their leadership team.

This is a sophisticated operation with a strong focus on exceptional hospitality, food, wine, and beverage.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-end or fine dining environment and a genuine passion for wine and beverage programs.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the details, knows how to lead a polished service, and enjoys developing teams in a high-expectation environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the General Manager in leading all day-to-day restaurant operations
• Taking a key leadership role in the wine and beverage program
• Driving beverage standards, sales, training, and guest engagement
• Leading service from the floor and ensuring exceptional hospitality at every touchpoint
• Supporting hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
• Building relationships with guests and cultivating a strong regular clientele
• Supporting financial performance, labour management, and operational standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous AGM, Restaurant Manager, or equivalent leadership experience
• High-end, fine dining, or luxury restaurant experience is required
• Strong wine and beverage experience is a must
• Deep understanding of wine service, cocktails, beverage programs, and elevated hospitality
• Proven ability to train and develop teams
• Highly polished, personable, and confident on the floor
• Strong operational and financial understanding
