Sommelier - Michelin-Starred Restaurant - Up to £50,000

The Role:

We're partnering with an exceptional Michelin-starred restaurant to recruit an experienced Sommelier to lead its thoughtfully curated wine programme.

With a deliberately focused wine list of around 80–100 bins, this is an opportunity to work with quality over quantity.

We're looking for someone with excellent wine knowledge who is commercially minded, enjoys developing others and sees wine as an integral part of the overall guest experience.

You'll take ownership of the wine programme, maintaining and developing the list over time while building strong supplier relationships.

You'll be a hands-on presence on the floor, working closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience and maximise wine sales.

About You:

• Previous Sommelier experience within a high-quality restaurant.
• Excellent wine knowledge and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Commercially aware with the confidence to manage the wine programme.
• A collaborative, hands-on team player who enjoys supporting others.
• Humble, positive and committed to building something special alongside the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the restaurant's wine programme.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Deliver outstanding wine service and guest recommendations.
• Train and coach the front-of-house team to build wine knowledge and confidence.
• Drive wine sales while maintaining commercial awareness.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to enhance the overall dining experience.
