CRO & Analytics Manager

We are recruiting for a CRO & Analytics Manager to join our client in Newcastle.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a data-driven marketing function by developing a culture of experimentation, insight-led decision making and continuous optimisation.



Skills/Experience:

  • Strong experience in digital analytics, marketing performance measurement and conversion rate optimisation.

  • Experience across paid media, SEO, website optimisation, email marketing and customer lifecycle marketing.

  • Proven experience developing attribution models and measurement frameworks.

  • Experience designing and managing structured experimentation and A/B testing programmes.

  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, customer journeys and optimisation methodologies.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.

  • Experience using GA4, Google Tag Manager, BigQuery and Power BI.

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.

  • Experience with Optimizely (or similar experimentation platforms).

  • Experience using behavioural analytics tools such as Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar or Contentsquare.



Core Responsibilities:

  • Own the digital analytics and marketing performance measurement framework across all digital channels.

  • Define KPIs, reporting frameworks and dashboards aligned to business objectives.

  • Analyse performance across paid media, SEO, website, email marketing and customer lifecycle activity.

  • Deliver actionable insights to improve acquisition, engagement, conversion and marketing effectiveness.

  • Lead the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) strategy and experimentation roadmap.

  • Design, manage and evaluate A/B testing and optimisation programmes.

  • Analyse customer journeys to identify friction points, usability issues and conversion opportunities.

  • Develop attribution models and marketing effectiveness frameworks to support commercial decision-making.

  • Define tracking standards, campaign tagging governance and measurement best practice.

  • Work closely with internal data teams and external agencies to optimise digital performance.

  • Champion a culture of continuous testing, learning and data-driven decision making.

  • Ensure analytics and tracking remain compliant with GDPR and evolving privacy standards.
